Following your valuable feedback in our previous survey, we are pleased to announce significant improvements to the care you receive at the Mayflower practices, effective from Wednesday, May 15th.
Here's what to expect:
Better Access to Health Care Advice: All patients now have the option to either visit the practice in person or call to request an appointment or obtain healthcare advice. It is no longer necessary to complete an Econsult to schedule an appointment.
New Econsultation System: We are introducing a new Econsultation system, accessible through the practice's website or via the Bramley Health Smartphone App. This is an additional method for making appointments or requesting healthcare advice. The system will be reviewed daily, and you will receive a text message which may include a prescription, self-management advice, a referral, or, if necessary, an offer for a face-to-face or telephone appointment.
Book Appointments in Advance: You can now schedule more routine appointments over the phone. We have adjusted our clinics to allow you to book appointments ahead of time, enhancing convenience.
Onsite Appointments: If you are feeling unwell, you can be seen at any one of the Mayflower practices of your choice, subject to availability on that day, after completing the care navigation process described below.
New Care Navigation System: When you call, you may be asked a few questions to help us determine the urgency of your needs. This process helps us reserve same-day appointments for the most seriously ill patients, while also providing other appointment options or healthcare advice based on your needs.
We will notify you of further changes as they occur.
In the meantime, feedback boxes are available in reception or online via the practice website for you to share your thoughts on these changes.
